Nutritional Consultant

  • Through her family’s own health struggles with autoimmune disease, celiac disease, ADHD, and multiple food sensitivities, Rhya became interested in the power of nutrition as a complementary therapy to traditional medical treatment. She completed her Bachelor’s in Biology with a pre-medical focus at Wright State University in Dayton, OH; and her Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition at Winthrop University. She is licensed in North and South Carolina as a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN).

Rhya’s primary practice areas are: autoimmune disease, IBS/IBD, PCOS, stubborn weight gain; food sensitivities, and other chronic inflammatory conditions in both adults and children. She has a “functional approach” to nutrition, which means she applies evidence-based nutrition science to support the whole body instead of trying to address a single symptom or system.

Rhya primarily works with clients in a private practice setting, but also provides wellness consulting services to corporations, churches, and schools.
